Lines and Light

Measuring 1.4 metres at its widest point, this is the largest piece of Lucie’s Honours work. It rotates fully around its centre, transforming its shape in the process.

I acknowledge and respect the traditional owners of the Yuggera nation, the Jinibara, Kabi Kabi and Turrbal peoples. I also pay my respects to their Elders, past, present, and emerging. I recognise the ongoing connection that Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people have to this land and honour them as the original custodians. Sovereignty has never been ceded; this always was and always will be Aboriginal Land.
