I acknowledge and respect the traditional owners of the Yuggera nation, the Jinibara, Kabi Kabi and Turrbal peoples. I also pay my respects to their Elders, past, present, and emerging. I recognise the ongoing connection that Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people have to this land and honour them as the original custodians. Sovereignty has never been ceded; this always was and always will be Aboriginal Land.
