In 2021 Lucie and her husband found themselves stranded in the Netherlands, unable to return to their home in Australia. During those 8 months Lucie channelled her creativity to maintain a positive outlook. She collected seemingly insignificant items and stitched them onto a piece of cloth, transforming it into a personal diary and a source of inspiration, with each item requiring a unique method of attachment.
